I’m new to counseling, what happens in a session?
Generally speaking, the first one or two sessions are to gather information about you and the reasons you have reached out for help. This information drives the development of a treatment plan detailing your desired goals along with a plan to achieve them. We then work together using education, strategies, and interactive practices to hopefully achieve those goals. While we cannot predict the future and I cannot guarantee any level of results, many people find great value and improvement over time when they commit themselves to the process.

Are you online only?
Our therapy services are 100% virtual! I have found the convenience and ease of access to be most beneficial for clients. The telehealth platform (Simple Practice) is accessible using a web browser on a computer or a free app on a mobile phone or tablet.
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
I have limited availability for sliding scale clients which are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If my sliding scale appointments are full, you can be placed on a waiting list or provided referrals for therapists who may have sliding scale considerations. Contact me for more information.
