FAQ

I’m new to counseling, what happens in a session?

Generally speaking, the first one or two sessions focus on gathering information about you and the reasons you’ve reached out for support. This information helps guide the development of a treatment plan that outlines your goals and the steps we’ll take to work toward them. From there, we collaborate using education, practical strategies, and interactive exercises to support progress. While we cannot predict the future or guarantee specific outcomes, many people experience meaningful improvement over time when they commit to the therapeutic process.
