Dr. Kimm M. Perez is a dedicated and compassionate psychology practitioner with extensive experience in both community-based and criminal justice settings. She provides culturally responsive and holistic mental health services to adults, adolescents, children, and couples, with an integrative approach that supports healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Perez offers treatment for a wide range of psychological and behavioral disorders. Her clinical work includes psychological assessments, group therapy, and individual counseling, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic and Existential Therapy, Brief Solution Focused, and other empirically supported practices.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Perez is a strong advocate for mental health within law enforcement communities, minority populations involved in the criminal justice system, and individuals within religious organizations. Her advocacy efforts focus on addressing systemic challenges, promoting wellness, and increasing access to culturally competent care.
Dr. Perez is licensed as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider Supervisor (LSOTP-S). She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Capella University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University.
Dr. Perez is certified in Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Sex Offender Treatment.

Cali Marie Crawford is a seasoned child welfare professional, supervisor, and educator with more than a decade of experience supporting children, families, and communities through trauma‑informed, strengths‑based practice. She currently serves as a Supervisor with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where she leads casework operations focused on child safety, risk assessment, permanency planning, and staff development.Cali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston–Downtown. Her multidisciplinary background spans roles as a DFPS Caseworker, Drug Court Infant–Toddler Visit Coach, educator, and legal assistant, giving her a comprehensive understanding of family systems, court processes, and child development across diverse settings.Throughout her career, Cali has demonstrated a deep commitment to strengthening parent–child relationships, supporting family reunification, and ensuring the safety and well‑being of vulnerable children. Her expertise includes court testimony, case documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and connecting families with community‑based services that reduce risk and enhance protective factors.In addition to her professional work, Cali has served as a Guardian ad Litem, tutor, testing coordinator, and Big Sister, reflecting her long‑standing dedication to advocacy, mentorship, and community service. She brings a compassionate, solution‑focused approach to leadership, education, and family support.
